Ingredients
 
carrots - 2-3 medium sized
lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
crushed groundnuts- 1-2 tablespoons
sugar - 1 teaspoon
vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
mustard seeds - one half teaspoon
turmeric - a pinch
green chillies - 1-2 small, chopped
salt to taste
cilantro to garnish
 
 
Recipe
 
1. Grate carrots , add crushed groundnut, sugar, lemon juice , salt.
 
3. Heat vegetable oil in a small saute pan, add mustard seeds. As the mustard seeds starts popping,  add a pinch of turmeric and chopped green chillies.  Shake the pan and put off the heat. Let it cool down for a couple of minutes and then add it to the mixture.
 
4. Mix well , garnish with cilantro and your sweet and sour carrot salad is ready. Tastes good with rotis/chapati
