flattened rice with yogurt
(dahi pohe)
Ingredients
thick flattened rice / pohe - 1 cup
yogurt - one half cup
milk - one fourth cup
green chillies - 2 , crushed
salt to taste
sugar - one tablespoon
cilantro to garnish
red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
Recipe
1. Wash pohe/flattened rice in a strainer for a couple of minutes , set aside for 15 minutes to allow flattened rice to absorb water and puff up.
2. Add yogurt, milk, crushed green chillies, red chili flakes, sugar and salt. Mix well and garnish with cilantro. Serve with tangy lemon pickle.
