raw mango drink

Ingredients
raw green mangoes - 2-3
jaggery or sugar - one half cup or as desired
salt to taste
cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon
saffron - 4-5 strands
water - 4 cups, chilled
cumin powder - one half teaspoon (optional)
chaat masala - one half teaspoon (optional)
Recipe
1. Wash unpeeled raw green mangoes and cook until tender. You can cook mangoes in a pressure cooker or in a sauce pan.
2. Let it cool enough to handle and then squeeze out pulp. Add grated jaggery or sugar, salt , cardamom powder, saffron and water. Mix well. Sweet and sour raw mango drink (panha) is ready to serve.
