beef with red kidney beans/rajma
Ingredients
minced beef - 500 gms
red kidney beans - 1 cup, soaked in water for 4-5 hours
onion - 1 cup, chopped
ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
green chillies - 3-4
tomato puree - 1/2 cup
meat masala - 2-3 tablespoons
red chili powder - 1 tablespoon
garam masala powder - 1 tablespoon
cloves - 4-5
bay leaves - 3-4
cardamom - 2-3
cinammon sticks - 2 small
plain yogurt - 1/2 cup
vegetable oil/butter- 3-4 tablespoons
cilantro to garnish
salt to taste
Recipe
1. Heat vegetable oil/butter in a sauce pan. Add cloves, bay leaves, cardamom and cinammon sticks and stri fry for aminute
2. Add chopped onion, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste and fsaute for 3-4 minutes.
3. Add minced beef, meet masala and saute for 4-5 minutes
4. Add red kindney beans
